And here comes the end of an era. After 8 years almost non-stop making tables, I take a rest or better said, I retire from making vpm tables mostly due to two things: my work, reducing the free time to almost none, and my interest in making something new and different with VP.

News
21 May 2013 Released NBA Fastbreak for VP915 / VP916. the table is saved with VP916 so you can see how much nicer they are under VP916. In VP915 the flashers will look a little too much colorful, but still very playable. Take the table as a preview of things to come in VP916.

New update on Medieval Madness, to version 2.4.3
- Fixed light insert graphic error introduced in 2.4.2
- Fixed alignment of the left slingshot
- Fixed  image on 2 gates

Medieval Madness updated to 2.4.1

I have fixed the gate :) It was the script which wasn't 100%. I assumed the ROM knew when the gate was up or down, but it didn't. So sometimes it triggered the solenoid to rise or lower the gate when it didn't need to. I added the right switches and a small timer to turn those switches on and off so the rom knows when the gate is up or down :) So now it works better :)

Released Medieval Madness for VP915
Revision 2.4.0
Those are the changes I had planned for this table:
- make the trolls register a side hit and you should need less power to hit them.
- slower castle main gate movement and in sync with the rom sound (fixed the solenoid call)
- smooth trolls up/down movement (they still move up/down very fast, it didn't feel right to make them go up/down slower, but now they shake when they reach the up position)
- smooth castle iron gate movement (done using a primitive)

And I ended up adding these changes too:
- New playfield, original from Francisco666, with many corrections by ClarkKent
- New plastics
- New color change for the castle and towers (ClarkKent)
- New Damsel castle (ClarkKent)
- New lights
- New fading GI on playfield and plastics
- Fading flashers at the bottom of the ramps
- New decoration on top of the flipper lanes, the archers
- New flashers
- New sounds as in my latest tables
- New trolls using 2 primitives for each troll, which allow for better up/down movement and shaking when hit.
- New logo on top of flippers, also using primitives
- New dragon (with color adjustments by ClarkKent)
- Fixed the ladder textures so it doesn't look broken.
- + a lot of script changes, b2b collisions, rubber sounds, ball rolling sound, JimmyFingers tap flipper addon, etc
- enhanced: purple flashers on the backwall: they didn't have red domes at the shop so I fitted purple ones :)

- Increased the Gi on the playfield and corrected some shadows.

Updated Bad Cats to version 1.1.1

Updated Sopranos with several fixes:

Update 1.0.1

- fix: Fixed right lane light
- fix: safe timer did not stop, the safe shake when it should be still.
- added: reflection of the RIP lights on the metal (mostly because of the desktop version)
- added: more GI effects
- added: missing mechanical sounds on some events/objects
- fix: visible locks not always working
- fix: for the FS version adjusted the position of some lights and flashers

Thanks to all who reported bugs.
I consider this version as finished.
The real table has many more GI effects during multiball. But I do not want to complicate too much the script, and I simply added some GI effects during the ball locks and when hitting the safe.

VP9.1.5 TABLES
Use VP9.1.5 or later to play these tables. These tables and their roms are availanble at VPFORUMS.ORG.
Click on the picture to go the the vpforums thread to download the table.

2012/2013 updated tables will include:
- new HD playfield and plastics (changing the JPGs with PNGs)
- faster fading lights script (mostly for lights and flashers made with alpha ramps)
- new collision script based on Pinball Ken, Steely and destruk teachings/tips for vpm tables
(some tables may get new sounds and some updated graphics)
The desktop tables will be setup for wide monitors. If you use a 4:3 monitor then change the Xscale to the same as the YScale.
